Intensive Dance Camp
Get serious about Dance
For beginners and transfer students who are serious about dancing, we recommend our Intensive Summer Dance Camp. This camp is designed to bring students, including beginners, to the level needed to compete on our competitive team and to perform in the Nutcracker.
While it takes it a lot of work, students manage to make this leap every year. We believe that new students succeed and enjoy dancing best when they are brought up to speed with their age-group as much as possible.
In addition to our own teachers, our intensive dance camp includes a number of guest teachers and choreographers to build all students performance, style, and technique. Our guest teachers and choreographers have not been finalized for Summer 2024, but will likely include many of the guest teaches and choreographers from Summer 2023, as outlined below. We will update this page once our guests are all booked.
New students must take both weeks of Intensive Dance Camp in order to join our competitive team. Our studio relies on participation in Intensive Dance Camp in lieu of auditions, as we are consistently able to get participating students to the level needed to perform with our competitive team.
Trio’s Intensive Dance Camp focuses on Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern dance. There may also be some sessions in Hip Hop, Acro and Musical Theatre.
