Beginning Dance Ages 2-10
In our young dancer program, there are always new students joining each year. Contact us and we will help you find the classes that are right for your dancer.
Beginning Dance Ages 10-13
We have a group of new dancers aged 10-13 starting in our pre-teen recreational program class. Contact us and we will help you find the classes that are right for you.
Information for New Students
In addition to contacting us, there are a few ways to find out more about our studio. You can use the links below to access information relevant to new dancers. Over the summer you can try drop in classes in July every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. We also have a beginner dance camp for dancers aged 4-6 in July and an intensive camp in August for dancers aged 7-17. Beginner dancers are always welcome, we will find the right class for you! For regular season classes, you can try two sessions before you need to register and without worrying about the dress code.
Adult Beginners and Persons with Disabilities
Adult Beginner Classes
We offer recreational dance classes for adults. These classes alternate between ballet one week and jazz the next.
Dance for All Abilities
These classes are intended for children, teens and young adults who are looking for a dance class adapted to their abilities. All are welcome, including persons with autism, Down’s syndrome, and physical disabilities.

Beginner Ballet
Trio Danceworks offers ballet lessons for children and teens ages 3 to 19. We also have a competitive ballet team and put on an annual production of the ballet “The Nutcracker”.
Beginner Tap Dance
Tap dancing classes are available starting at age 4. We also have a competitive dance team who perform tap dancing numbers at competitions across Canada.
Beginner Jazz Dance
Jazz classes are available starting at age 4. We also have a competitive dance team who performs jazz numbers at competitions across Canada.
Beginner Modern / Contemporary Dance
Modern dance classes are available starting at age 6, building on the skills learned in our ballet and jazz classes. We also have a competitive dance team who perform modern dance numbers at competitions across Canada.
