Dress CODE
Different clothing and shoes are suitable for different kinds of dance. The right clothing can boost confidence and build cohesiveness. If you are just trying our classes, don’t worry about meeting the dress code for your trial sessions – you are welcome in any clothes suitable for dancing. Students in the all abilities program are welcome to come in any clothing they find comfortable to dance in. However, the dress code is mandatory for competitive dancers.
For our dress code, if the item is unavailable, please get the item closest to what we asked for on the list. When buying dance shoes make sure that they fit like a sock as it will be easier for your dancer to apply the proper technique.
Where to buy
For classes, students need to wear the clothes set out in the dress code below. These clothes can be purchased from Brio Dancewear or Malabar Limited. Brio has a list of what we are requiring for each level so you can just ask!
